The WEA is delighted to announce that it will be the lead partner in the delivery of the NE Peace III Partnership's Community Integration programme. The WEA will be delivering this programme in partnership with - Ballymena Inter-ethnic Forum, Ballymoney Community Resource Centre, Causeway Rural and Urban Network, the Interaction Institute for Social Change, Kilcranny House and Mediation Northern Ireland. The programme will run until the autumn of 2013 and will support community groups in the six councils making up the cluster area (Limavady, Coleraine, Moyle, Ballymoney, Ballymena and Larne) to address local sectarian and racist issues and support greater community integration. Groups will be offered accredited learning and mentoring, along with opportunities to explore best practice elsewhere and to enter into debate with one another and with other stakeholders in the area and regionally to determine directions and actions. Recruitment to the programme is now open and any group that is interested should contact one of the partner organisations.
