In the South West we are operating in two areas – County Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area.

In both areas the courses on offer include Essential Skills (ICT, literacy and numeracy) and a wide range of qualifications at Entry Level to Level 2.

The Essential Skills courses are FREE and the College is offering special tuition rates until the summer for other courses – e.g. £5 per learner for courses of 10-20 hours, £10 per learner for courses 20-40 hours.

If you are from a community group and think that you could recruit some learners please get in touch. For an Essential Skills course we would need 6 learners and for other courses around 10. In recognition of this service the WEA will pay you £25 per qualifying learner recruited and a further £25 per qualifying learner retained until the end of the course.

As we become busier this page will have stories and photographs to show what is happening across the region.
Our Development Officer in the area is Hazel Hicks who can be contacted on 07792 969659 or by email hazel.hicks@wea-ni.com
