The WEA is continually updating its list of courses on sale to groups and organisations, recent additions include:
 

Anti Social Behaviour NEW
 
Anti Social Behaviour has now entered the language as the buzzword to describe a huge range of low level crime affecting our daily lives. This short course will give participants a clear understanding of the meaning and nature of Anti Social Behaviour so that its importance and impact is better understood. It will also examine possible solutions by looking at the role and limitations of the law and alternative strategies adopted by community organisations.
 
This 10 hour course is accredited by the Open College Network at level 3. Cost £1000 per group of learners*
 
Listening Skills NEW
 
Many of us do not listen or do listen but not hear and this opens up all sorts of problems of understanding and communication. This short course will give participants the skills to listen effectively with the intention of improving communications, deepening understanding and building stronger relationships
 
This 20 hour course is accredited by CPCAB at level 2. Cost £1200 per group of learners*
 
The WEA also continues to offer an extensive range of courses across a broad range of areas such as community relations, community development, computing, creative industries, arts and crafts etc. Courses that are particularly popular at the minute include: Money Management, Arts and Crafts courses, Drug Awareness, Essential Skills
