This course will help participants understand the complex issue of Anti Social Behaviour. In a short module learners will be guided through what is meant by Anti Social Behaviour, its impact on the community, the legal context and what approaches have been used to tackle it. |
| Course Description: |
Anti Social Behaviour has now entered the language as the buzzword to describe a huge range of low level crime affecting our daily lives. Although the term is often misused it is clear that the issue is very important and will continue to challenge government and communities alike into the future. This short course will give participants a clear understanding of the meaning and nature of Anti Social Behaviour so that its importance and impact is better understood. It will also examine possible solutions by looking at the role and limitations of the law and alternative strategies adopted by community organisations.
