Craftsworks Introduction will guide learners through several areas important to learners that are new to taking part in crafts. Learners will look at health & safety procedures, the use of tools and equipment required for chosen crafts, identify and select a project and produce a finished article.
The intermediate level will go into more depth on the areas covered above, develop the learner’s skill in their chosen craft and encourage the learner to produce original articles.
The Craftsworks courses are very adaptable to the interests of the learners so although the format of the course remains the same the learners can chose which craft area to focus on, recent examples have included jewellery, glass etching and embroidery.
