| Course Description: |
This course sets out to assist individuals explore the complexities, origins, myths and conflicts that may surround their sense of identity living in Northern Ireland. It looks at labels and symbols and how these can signal pride or prejudice, inclusion or exclusion.
The course helps learners examine their own group/individual identity and how this relates to that of others.
The main focus throughout is on the major conflictual divide in N.I. i.e. sectarianism, but this takes place within a safe learning environment that over the past 10 years has proven effective and indeed enjoyable.

Anyone interested in exploring issues of personal and group identity in Northern Ireland, particularly the impact of these on community conflict.
It is very useful for anyone wishing to raise awareness around Section 75 issues.
