The Centre of Hope project is now into its second year at Cloona Oasis Centre. The project was established in November 2007 to set up a community based support network for victims of domestic abuse and is funded through the 'Policing in the Community Fund'. Short term funding was also provided through the Lisburn Partnership Board.
A group of women who regularly attend the centre are currently undertaking the Learning to Earning programme, having completed Personal Development and Preparing for Work courses.
