“You have to keep motivated, confident and organised.” This was the advice given by Tim Roberts at the final Creativity Thirst taster session.
This taster session was hosted by some of the members of the “Thimble group” who meet at Ormeau Business Park. They are a collective of Fashion and Their collective messages were similar to the others who have contributed to the taster sessions in this project. They emphasised the importance of image, profile, marketing, collaboration and hard work. They also spoke about the importance of availing of all sorts of courses and development projects for business start up and how these equip us for our own businesses practically as well as enabling valuable networking opportunities. “Make sure you make a profit out of what you are doing“ was the advice given by Elizabeth Savage.
Ormeau Business Park would be keen to hear from anyone who would like to be part of the “Thimble group”. Telephone Patricia McNeill on 9033 9906 to find out more. |

Textile Designers who are local but have an impact in the global market. The contributors were Tim Roberts who is a Weaver, Leo Cardenas who works with his wife, Maria, designing quality elegant linen garments for ladies and Elizabeth Savage who sells Arran hand knitted garments for export. “Thimble” is always keen to connect with others who work in these skill areas to join their group.
