“Get in, start training and if you like it enough you naturally do a good job.  Gradually you get an opportunity and you work your way up the ladder.”

Animation and film making taster sessionThis was the message from Colette Casey at the second ‘Creativity Thirst’ taster session held on Tuesday 20 November at the Wolfhill Centre, Ligoniel.  This animation and film session was delivered by Will and Ken Simpson from ‘Rogue Rocket’ and Colette Casey from Cosi-C Film.

Once again these professionals stressed the importance of working in collaboration with others in the Creative Industries and the significance of developing their creative passions.  They spoke about the demands of long hours and dedication to their businesses as well as satisfaction of seeing a project through to its completion.

Information was also given by EGSA and the professionals presenting the session about opportunities for training and progression which are available for those who want to learn more about these areas of the Creative Industries.
