Negotiation is part of everyday life, sometimes we do it without even realising.  This model shows how to negotiate in a way that maintains relationships in the long term.  It moves us away from the partisan win-lose by seeking to find agreements that are mutually beneficial.  This model can be applied to negotiating with family, children and partners.  It can and has been used successfully in the work situation and resolving community conflicts both within and between communties.
